The nature of Western Siberia is beautiful and diverse: impenetrable taiga forests, pine forests, picturesque landscapes of the forest-steppe, numerous lakes with clear water, bright alpine meadows – everywhere there is something interesting that will fill you with enthusiasm and energy, inspire and benefit.

The plant world of Western Siberia is rich and diverse, numbering several thousand food, medicinal, vitamin-bearing, honey-bearing, fodder and industrial plant species.

There are more than 40 tree species in Western Siberia, of which pine, Siberian cedar, birch, poplar, willow and aspen are the most common.

The fauna of Western Siberia is very rich. There are about 500 species of vertebrates here, of which 100 are wild mammals, and 4 are newly acclimatized: muskrat, hare, American mink and muskrat. The world of birds of Western Siberia is represented by more than 360 species, 60 species of fish live in rivers and lakes. The insect fauna of Western Siberia is poorly studied, it is believed that it has 30 – 40 thousand species.
